Megan & Lewis’ Vintage Vegas Elopement: Elvis, Tattoos, and Classic Cars
Megan and Lewis traveled from the UK to Las Vegas because they wanted a wedding day that felt completely different from traditional weddings back home.
They skipped the large formal celebration and planned a Las Vegas elopement full of fun, personality, and unforgettable moments. From getting married by Elvis at Sure Thing Chapel to matching tattoos and cruising downtown in a classic car, every part of the day reflected who they are as a couple.
As a Las Vegas elopement photographer, I love documenting weddings like this. Their day felt spontaneous, personal, and full of energy from beginning to end.
An Elvis Wedding at Sure Thing Chapel
Megan and Lewis started their wedding day at Sure Thing Chapel, one of the most fun and unique ceremony locations in Las Vegas.
Their parents joined them as witnesses while Elvis officiated the ceremony. The pink neon heart backdrop added the perfect Vegas touch as they exchanged vows together. Of course, Elvis also performed a few songs, which kept the atmosphere playful and relaxed.
Coming from the UK, Megan and Lewis wanted an experience they would never forget. Las Vegas gave them exactly that.
As a Las Vegas elopement photographer, I always love seeing couples fully embrace their personalities and create a wedding day that feels true to them. Megan and Lewis weren’t interested in tradition. They wanted something exciting, memorable, and completely unique.
Matching Tattoos in Downtown Las Vegas
After the ceremony, Megan and Lewis added another unforgettable experience to their wedding day by getting matching tattoos at Downtown Tattoo.
The tattoo shop sat right next door to the chapel, making it the perfect stop after saying “I do.”
For them, the tattoos represented more than just a fun Vegas experience. They became permanent reminders of the day they got married together in Las Vegas.
Watching them laugh and talk throughout the appointment made the entire experience feel relaxed and genuine. Moments like these remind me that Las Vegas weddings are about so much more than neon lights and casinos. They’re about creating meaningful memories in your own unique way.
Cruising Las Vegas in a Classic Car
After getting tattooed, Megan and Lewis hit the streets of Las Vegas in a vintage car from Royal Rides.
Driving through downtown Las Vegas in a classic car felt like stepping into an old Vegas movie. Between the neon lights, vintage signs, and city energy, every location added something special to their gallery.
They spent the afternoon laughing together, drinking beers, and taking in the excitement of the city. We stopped at several iconic Las Vegas signs and vintage locations along the way for portraits.
One of my favorite things about this part of the day was how relaxed everything felt. There was no strict schedule or pressure. Just the two of them fully enjoying the experience together.
As a Las Vegas elopement photographer, these candid moments are always some of my favorites to capture.
A Fun and Unforgettable Las Vegas Elopement
Megan and Lewis created a wedding day that felt adventurous, personal, and completely authentic to who they are.
From their intimate Elvis ceremony at Sure Thing Chapel to matching tattoos and cruising Las Vegas in a classic car, every moment reflected their personalities perfectly.
That’s what makes a Las Vegas elopement so special. Couples have the freedom to create a wedding experience that feels exciting, unconventional, and entirely their own.
