Not every couple dreams about traditional engagement photos in a field at sunset — and honestly, that’s what made Sam and Javi’s session so much fun.

Instead of planning a classic engagement shoot, they wanted something bold, energetic, and completely different. They wanted neon lights, vintage Vegas vibes, and the electric energy of downtown Las Vegas. As a Las Vegas elopement photographer, those are exactly the kinds of sessions I love photographing.

Starting the Night at Circus Circus

We kicked off Sam and Javi’s session at Circus Circus Las Vegas, one of the most iconic and colorful spots in Las Vegas.

The vintage casino lights, bold colors, and nostalgic Vegas atmosphere created the perfect starting point for their session. Circus Circus has such a unique energy. Between the glowing signs and old-school Vegas charm, every corner feels cinematic.

Sam and Javi immediately embraced the chaos and excitement of the city. They laughed nonstop, wandered through the lights together, and fully leaned into the experience instead of treating it like a formal photoshoot.

Running Through Downtown Fremont Street

After Circus Circus, we headed toward Fremont Street and downtown Las Vegas for the second half of the session.

The second we stepped beneath the neon lights, the entire city came alive. Bright signs flashed overhead while music echoed through the streets. Every block felt vibrant and energetic.

Sam and Javi ran through downtown together, stopping beneath classic Vegas signs and colorful casino lights along the way. Some of my favorite moments happened completely naturally while they explored the city hand in hand.
